Queen Street Fire... was it really two years ago?

Its very hard to believe that it was two years ago today [February 20th, 2008], that we lost our beloved shop in the huge fire that took down an entire block on Queen Street.

Thanks to all our customers and friends who have helped us survive the past couple of years at our temporary location on Richmond Street.

At lot has happened since then and we are now very pleased to announce the we have just recieved our building permits for the re-build. Yes... Duke's is rebuilding on the old site. We expect to begin construction a little later this spring with a Grand Opening planned for early 2011.

Weight Weenie Heaven - part 2

This time its something for the fat tire folks. We've just built up an new Cannondale Flash Ultimate, cross country rocket!

This bike weighs in at 16lbs, 15oz!... and that's the large.

The Ultimate represents the new benchmark for XC race mountain bikes. And unlike the typical hard tail, this bike features 5mm of vertical compliance in the rear stays and 15mm of compliance in the Flash seat post.
