We've all got different reasons for riding a bike. Some ride for pleasure, while others like to race. Here are a few more...
1] For Your Body - Riding a bike offers many health benefits, including: improved cardiovascular fitness, increased strength, balance, flexibility, endurance and stamina.
2] For Your State of Mind - Riding a bike is a great stress releaser. Hey... its fun and you'll feel like a kid again.
3] For Your Community - Riding a bike is good for the environment. The fewer cars on the road the better. Riding around your neighborhood will open you up to a whole new world to explore. Take some time to stop, smell the flowers, and be a part of the your local community.
4] For Your Pocketbook - Cars are expensive. We all know that. Bikes don't require gas or expensive maintenance programs. And best of all, you can park downtown for free!

Congratulations to Ross Rader for a new Cross Ontario Record.
On May 10th, our very own Duke's Cycle LapDogs Race Team member, Ross Rader, beat the odds and the weather to complete a record breaking ride from Ottawa to Windsor. Ross did this in a gut-wrenching time of 35 hours - 45 minutes faster than the previous record set in 1987.
Spring has sprung and all cyclist's thoughts have turned to visions of getting back outside and on the bike... does this mean its time for a Tune-up?
